Olivia Burton - high school pupil
youngest ever platinum standard

I always enjoy my lesson whether I have got real hard work or not. I like my chords the best. I enjoy Jane’s lesson because she makes pieces of music fun, enjoyable and Jane uses rhythms a lot to make the music sound brilliant. Playing the keyboard with Jane is fun, and Jane doesn’t make you to anything you can’t.

Caroline Haycock - school teacher
organ & keyboard Platinum Standard.

Being a pupil of Jane Morrey Music is, and continues to be a privilege. I started learning the keyboard in January ’89, and have learned through Jane’s self-designed courses, to read and understand music - including theory. I am now able to play, arrange and entertain with considerable confidence. As a primary school teacher, I have taken much of what I have learned to improve my own pupil’s work. Jane teaches you at your own pace and level with challenging lessons. She is a lively, humorous person who makes learning fun - from the very young to the more senior in years - and is a very good player herself - a real bargain!

Gold Standard keyboardist.

Jane seems to have struck the happy medium to keep teenage children interested in music. She has a very professional manner, but is also great fun. Both of my girls have attended lessons for several years and have enjoyed it immensely. There seems to be something for everyone. Concerts which are very varied and loads of fun. Keep up the good work Jane - we have no complaints what so ever!!

Plays both Organ & Keyboard

We have known Jane since she started to teach music to our special son in 1982. As well as being a lovely person, who is always the same whenever you meet her; she has a close affinity with children and young people and of course, has a great musical talent. All these attributes make her an ideal person for teaching music - to all ages.

Catherine Tuft -  former pupil of the organ
I started having lessons with Jane in 1988, at the age of 7. I had lessons for approximately 5/6 years - achieving Bronze Standard. I looked forward to my lessons with Jane because she has such a fantastic personality. She made my lesson fun and gave me the confidence I needed to develop my music. Jane was always very encouraging, and when I struggled with a piece of music, she would persevere with me, until I mastered it - making the effort that we both put in, worth the while.
Once you’ve met Jane, you’ll never forget her
